Destination Wedding Trends
The all-inclusive concept is now more popular than ever…. and with good reason! Whether you envision a large resort in Jamaica or an intimate boutique-style property in Mexico, there is likely an all-inclusive hotel to suit your individual preferences. And, there’s nothing to think about once you get to your destination because you’ll never need to carry cash or a credit card!
Gone are the days of 3 buffet meals a day at these resorts. Many offer multiple dining options that range from restaurants that are indigenous to your location to Japanese teppanyaki, French cuisine, Italian and more. Catering menus rival that of high-end restaurants in the US.
All-inclusive resorts are a more economical route for couples on a budget. Resorts offer a variety of wedding packages, some of which are complimentary, or can be as extravagant as you’d like and have more inclusions. Resorts have an on-site wedding coordinator who is available to help with the planning and all details for your event.
While many all-inclusives have a house DJ, musicians, photographer and florist, many brides and grooms-to-be choose to hire local outside vendors to fulfill these responsibilities. Many resorts charge outside vendor fees, while others have a preferred vendor list that couples are required to use, so make sure to check your resort’s policies before giving deposits.
